The 142 is an active hub. It is a magnet for a broad spectrum of performers and artists in the fields of theater, film, music, dance, and fine art. It offers our community a window to the wider world and a place to gather, to learn, and to celebrate the various arts together. Our music bookings cover a wide range of genres including chamber music, classical, folk, blues, jazz, rock, dance and world music. The venue is a comfortable classic stage theatre with seating for up to 300 in flexible formats with various configurations, including a balcony. Great stage with excellent acoustics and sight lines from every seat in the house.
