Musician, Educator and long time Oakland resident David Sturdevant was nominated again this year for the Oakland Indie Awards in the category of "pillar of the community". David is the leader/founder of Medicine Ball Music (aka The San Francisco Medicine Ball) and actively works and performs through out Northern California.
