Greg Loiacono of The Mother Hips
Marc Friedman of The Slip
Dave Brogan of ALO

Listen to my shapes. A tactile invitation to an elevated pop consciousness offered by this brainchild of singer/guitarist Greg Loiacono, best known for his frontline role in California Soul institution, The Mother Hips. Sensations move with the natural grace of Roy Orbison, and Buddy Holly & the Crickets infused with ‘70s power trio muscle They bounce hard like the Soft Boys/Robyn Hitchcock, My Morning Jacket and ‘60s British Invasion greats. In Loiacono’s words, it’s "a macho/sensitive music that explores modern day psychedelia and the feelings of body and heart.”

Bringing in a wealth of road won experience, Loiacono, abetted by bassist Marc Fridman (The Slip) and drummer Dave Brogan (ALO), Sensations rescue pop music from the slagheap of today's charts, returning it to the cerebrally breezy tradition of the Kinks & Hollies. What's more, they build on that darkly tuneful legacy. Not merely nostalgic recreationists, Sensations breathe creativity & sonic verve into every crevice of this lean, punchy marvel.

Jerry Hannan (NEW Album Celebration)
http://jerryhannan.com/

A genuine songwriter and performer to boot. Recently, Hannan recorded his own song, ‘Society’ with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, which is featured in Sean Penn’s film “Into the Wild”. “I Thought I Was You”, written by Jerry and brother Sean Hannan also plays in “Into the Wild.” In 2003, Jerry recorded his second CD "Sounds Like a Story". A new song "DaDaDa" from the CD was featured in the film "The Pledge" (Jack Nicholson). He performed in Sam Shepard's play, "The Late Henry Moss," at San Francisco's Theatre on the Square (along with Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, Cheech Marin and Woody Harrelson). He also appeared as a raucous singer who offsets a romantic conversation between Harry Connick Jr and Sarah Jessica Parker. in Sony Picture's "Life Without Dick".

Described as "shades of Dylan, John Prine and Van Morrison...very Americana with a faint Irish lilt", Hannan's songs (like those of Springsteen, Steve Earle and Cat Stevens) speak of our everyday lives and the magic that we sometimes miss. He's a storyteller who loves to stir the crowd. He has been called a “three chord wizard,” with guitar, lyrics and harmonica, often funny, sardonic in a good-natured way, dealing with issues like ecology, friendship, love.

Raised on jigs and ballads in San Francisco's Irish community, Jerry Hannan grew up listening to the music of his Irish-born parents (The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers), as well as Cat Stevens. As a youngster he took accordion lessons, switching to guitar in high school and playing in rock 'n roll bands.

Hannan has just finished recording "The Light Gets Brighter", which will feature his latest gems including his own version of SOCIETY.

Maria Quiles & Rory Cloud (CD Release)
http://mariaandrory.com/

Acoustic duo out of San Francisco, Maria Quiles and Rory Cloud bring an intimate, soulful and spellbinding new sound to the indie-folk scene. The two deliver a performance that is at once familiar and genuine; capturing the spirit of the acoustic tradition, while allowing their individual influences to shine through.

Since coming together, Maria and Rory have been turning heads at every corner; w
ith many shows already under their belts in northern California and Los Angeles. Their debut album, "Long Time Coming" produced by Grammy winning engineer, Steve Horowitz is set to be released in July, 2012.

The two met in San Francisco, California through mutual friend and local songwriter, Roem Baur. It wasn't long before they discovered they had a great chemistry both musically and personally and have since put their music ahead of everything else.

"We couldn't be happier about the way things have come together in such a short time. All we want at this point is to get our music out there and build a strong community along the way."
