Club Med Ball is the San Francisco Medicine Ball Band, a popular ensemble of Bay Area musicians with deep roots in the diverse art & music communities of Northern California. With regular performances in Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, Marin and elsewhere, this is feel good music tailored for dancing or just relaxing, dinner time or any time, all over the Bay. Founder and band leader David Sturdevant personally arranges each show, changing to suit the venue or event, drawing on ties to the biggest names in entertainment with a perfect blend of vocalists and instrumentalists. For Sausalito's A Taste of Rome, it is Club Med Ball, usually 3 to 4 artists to make the most of the intimate space and comfy vibes with an emphasis on popular tunes for your dining and listening pleasures.

While the names change the music is always red hot fantastic featuring familiar faces and special guests including YLONDA NICKELL and NANCY WRIGHT on sax, JOHN & ANN HUNT, Oakland's soulful vocalists CHELLE JACQUES and TERRIE ODABI, Two-time Grammy Award Violinist MADS TOLLING, keyboard and vocal sensation JANICE MAXIE-REID, Blues Hall of Fame drummer LARRY VANN, STEVE MALERBI, DAVID STURDEVANT and always a few surprises.
